Class was lovely today. I was surprised that the instructor did not introduce herself or ask my name or if I had any injuries as that is what I’m typically used to. I really enjoyed the class. She did a great job of making it available to everyone but still challenging. At the end, I told her that I really enjoyed the class, but I got the impression that comments and questions were not welcome so I just left.
Absolute Yoga is hands down one of the best studios on Long Island. Here you'll find some of the most caring and experienced instructors, comfortable and inviting spaces, wonderful variety of class offerings, and a genuine sense of community and positive energy. From classes to workshops to special events and retreats, everyone at Absolute will make you feel like you are home.
My first class was with Jenny. She was very attentive and made a point of introducing herself and making me feel welcome, as did the girl at the front desk. I look forward to future classes at Absolute Yoga.
Everything. :) Right now, I'm in the Beginner Series class, & I like that Margaret is teaching the poses / alignment in precise detail. I like that the Beginner Series exists at all, instead of jumping right into classes u might not be ready for. I like the 8-week schedule, and that u can take the exact same class on both Sun & Tues. I also really like the decor of the room, especially the beautiful sun painting on the wall. :)
