The entire staff is so friendly and thorough! The grounds are beautiful and the barns all have amazing equipment. Dr. Troy explained my horse's procedure in detail and answered all my questions. Megan also answered all my questions and was extremely helpful. Nikki was very professional with all of the intake stuff, gave me a great tour of the facility, and was so compassionate when I became emotional about my horse's status. Thanks, Alamo crew!
I like everything; a world class facility, friendly and efficient front office, and a whole variety of qualified vets; and I like ALL of them!!!
I find that my horses are never over treated, they get excellent care, without any tendency to 'pump up the bill'. Practical yet competent treatment, with a good blend of concern for my horse AND my wallet. I never worry about either; I feel like all the folks at Alamo practice the Golden Rule, and treat ME like THEY would like to be treated.
A first class outfit!!!
Alamo offers a wonderful combination of world-class veterinarians, veterinary science and technology with high-touch customer service. Everyone I met, from the time they helped take my horse off the trailer and get checked in, to the time she was wrapped, loaded and checked out, was incredibly helpful and supportive. This works wonders on those of us (human and equine) who are anxious and stressed after a long road trip.
Everyone goes above and beyond for your horse and owner. Trips to the vet are stressful when you don't know the outcome of your horse's health. All the vets care!! Dr Ed Hames, the surgeon and vet on duty the night I took my horse in gave me a full picture of all avenues of what possibilities my horse had. Took me a bit to digest it all but eventually I decided on colic surgery. I was relieved when the decision was made. I can't remember all the names of the young lady vets that night but I thanks them from the bottom of my heart. All the post surgery care was top notch and caring also!!
