As I mentioned in a Google review. "Went in to buy a mtn bike tire and ended up buying a mnt bike. Times have changed. If you used to ride or have a mtn bike from the 80's and 90's the newer ones feel much smoother. The forks lay forward more and the handle bars are WIDER. This makes the ride much more stable and feels like a luxury beach cruiser bike. Price was more than fair at $799. Tires are wider, seat is more comfortable, tires are a bit wider. All makes the mtn bikes of today a huge upgrade. Of course they all seem to come with front shocks too. Thanks Ryan and Amnit for a quick, no pressure sale!"
I am a fan of your operation. I came by 48 hours ago for a rear tube & tire replacement. Your tech [sorry I don't know his name] was very friendly and remembered me [my name] from previous dealings of mine. He replaced the tube & tire. 24 hours later I came back because the same tube was flat. He replaced it without charge; again, very friendly and helpful. This [i.e., two rear tube replacements within 24 hours] had happened once before months ago, and I reminded him of it. I wondered rhetorically what might be wrong systemically [I have had this Raleigh trail bike since 1993- possibly longer than your tech has been alive]. He opined that the inner rim might be "pinching" the tube, so he inserted another inner rim "cushion."
You don't want to hear this, but, an hour ago, after I'd ridden the bike ~2 miles, the rear tube went flat again. I can't bring it by today, but I will tomorrow.
I think we need to examine the issue under a proverbial magnifying glass. As I said, I've owned this bicycle since 1993, and have put thousands of miles on it. Something is really odd obout this sudden propensity for flats [three days in a row]. Another possibility may be that the line of tubes you use is defective. Again, will bring it in tomorrow.
