Dan, did a great job of boxing my bike for an upcoming rails to trails adventure from Jasper to Winnipeg. Making the appointment was easy, boxed bike was ready on-time at a fair price. I could see the attention to detail and care that was performed to box bike in preparation for travel. Alter Ego played a significant role in my bike build over the winter as Josh helped me select and order the wheels and he reassured me and me make the decision to transition to tubeless for the first time in my life, after riding for 60 years. He also performed the tubeless set-up and managed my expectations about how they work and taught me about what i needed to prepare for roadside maintenance.

Dropped by AlterEgo Sports yesterday to pick up some new gear and had an awesome experience. I was looking for a specific setup and walked out with a pair of Shimano XT M8100 pedals and Specialized Recon 2.0 shoes. The staff member who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. He took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed without any high-pressure sales tactics. It’s rare to find that level of solid, practical expertise these days. The shop is well-stocked, and the customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out if you want great gear and staff who actually know their stuff. I'll definitely be back!

I got my brakes serviced last fall but my first ride in the spring showed that there were still issues. Alter Ego took my bike in right away and solved the issue within hours, leaving my bike good as new!

Great people and service. Josh was incredible getting the bike ready and delivered it to my home in 30 min when it didn’t fit into my car. Sales people were knowledgeable, unrushed and patient. There was no upsell or pressure.
