I've changed my arrangement with AmeriGas to a "will-call". The reason for this decision is that I was not receiving the best available pricing for gas deliveries (once or twice a year) when I was on a scheduled visit basis. I found this out by doing a spot check with other local Propane companies, and it was clear that I was being overcharged, compared to what I could receive on a Spot basis. At the time I complained, about the overcharging, i did receive a $200 discount from the invoice, but I learned a lesson, hence my change to will-call. I'll call AmeriGas first, but then I'll call Suburban, and maybe another to to check how close they are to each other. If they are more or less equal, I'll continue with AmeriGas. If the gap is too wide, I'll go with the other firm.
