The inspector missed identifying mildewed lumbers in the attic and the completely clogged soffit vents around the roof. After moving into this house for only 2 months in winter with extreme weather, we noticed water started dripping through one of our bedroom ceiling lights and bathroom fans. The upper part of the attic was accumulating a significant amount of frost and condensation that causes widespread water dripping when the weather got warmer. All the insulation is soaked. We informed the company that we contacted a professional roofer who stated it should have been caught through inspection as there must have been the same situation in previous winters since the mold on wood has been built up for years. It could cause great devaluation of the house and they just excused themselves by saying the problem was not observed at the time of inspection which was in summer, and the whole problem is due to high humidity. Our average humidity level in house is 30%. We received poor service from the company and they missed important issues that should have been addressed including a few miss located air ventilation vents on the rooftop (that also caused no air circulation in the attic).

Mike went though exactly what he was doing at all times. If he seen a problem he gave why it probably happen and what a solution might be. Very informative.
Kevin was awesome, very thorough, explained things well, and took his time to go through the home and ensure a complete and thorough inspection was undertaken.
