I strongly recommend Chris to do your home inspection. First, Chris is very knowledgeable and did a thorough examination. In his 4+ hours check, Chris discovered many issues that were not listed in the inspection report by the seller. This helps me to negotiate with the seller even the house is listed as “sell as is”. The seller paid $2800 to my closing cost because of Chris’ finding. Second, Chris is a very nice guy. Not only he explained all his finding to me in details, but also answered all my beginner questions patiently. It is especially important for a first time buyer like me. I learned a lot from Chris and know more about my future home. I have more confidence in maintenance and fix if necessary. Third, Chris is very responsible for his job. He continues to answer my questions even after the inspection was done. He even came back to my new house to check my kitchen vent hood, for free! Finally, his charge is reasonable. I don’t know how much others paid, but $435 is really worth it, especially I get back more from the seller through the inspection.
