The variety of classes offered is amazing and the teachers are supportive and helpful. The times are great because you have a lot of options in regards to classes and available times for anyone's schedule. Thank you!
Please return the Wednesday Bikram class to 90 minutes!! How about more "hot yoga" classes taught by Hollie? (she seemed willing) How about a class on Saturday around 6? I could make it there 5 days a week? How about timing your hard classes in such a way that it is possible to do one, then 30 minutes later do a stretch class? Like Sunday. Please bring back the little black marks!!!!! (it chaos)
It was so nice not having to worry about the $10 late fee cancellation this summer.
In general most people adhered to it. And some people don't. In all honestly, it just gives me a negative connotation to the whole thing. For instance, I was on the waitlist at the yoga studio and a couple people did not come so I was able to get into class. However the lady forgot to put me in the class and I got charged a $10 cancellation fee. It was a mess to sort out two weeks later.(I just got a $10 credit at the studio) And yet again, today, I just found out I am leaving to Eielson, and cannot make Christas Koos class at noon, and had to late cancel. I'm just glad that I am fortunate to have the extra $10 and say forget about it, and try to let it go. But if I was someone who lived paycheck to paycheck, I probably wouldn't return. Its just my opinion. I think the whole thing should go away.
I love this studio and always will. All the yoga teachers are absolutely amazing. I feel blessed to be part of this community. I like that the yoga teachers all have different methods of teaching. I also like that anchorage yoga includes all aspects of yoga, not just "flexibility". Thanks Katie, David, and Christa!! see you after my trip from Eielson!
(Feedback for the kids class) The teacher could do a better job of controlling the other kids in class. If this is a serious class that the kids are supposed to get something out of and not just a drop-in daycare, the class should be taught as such. If not, it should be marketed as a drop-in daycare.
