My son has gained confidence and built so many skills to help him be safe in the water. He is excited every single time he sees the pool because of Aqua Tots. We even left temporarily and tried somewhere near our house but came back. You guys are 100% worth our hour drive! I recommend you to everyone that I talk to!
Our son loves coming to his swim lessons! Alissa is such a great teacher and gives us really good feedback of things to work on in between sessions, as well as instruction during each lesson. Our son is more comfortable being in the water during bath time, and we know he will continue to build the skills to become a safe swimmer!
We have seen confidence blossoming in our child since joining Aqua-Tots. This has spilled over into other areas of her life. The instructors put her (and us) at ease and cultivate confidence through fostering a fun, safe, and positive learning environment.
I think AquaTots experiences are very dependent on the coach. My two girls have had a lot of coaches over the years, mostly good, some just average and do the basic job, but Montana (in Oklahoma City) is by far, the best coach we’ve had at AquaTots. She is extremely thorough, patient with stubborn kids (like mine 😉), challenges them a bit, while also relating to them and making them feel comfortable in the water. I seriously don’t know how she does it. My daughter is thriving in her classes and I love watching!
Meleah has progressed to L8 over 5 years and enjoys aquatots.
I marked score down to 9 as I have 7 make up classes I can not use as the only other L8 at NW OKC location is on Saturday which does not work.
Nice and knowledgeable staff. Swim coach gives good insight and feedback on what is going good and what opportunity areas we have. Our coach is extremely patient and kind and has really brought our son out of his shell in thr water and to trust the coach but also even more than that-trust himself! A+++
Great coaching. Gentle with the kids. Kids know what to expect each time they come which makes classes better & easy to follow. The can learn from doing it with the teacher and from watching others do it also. But sometimes it seems like either the class is too short (for the higher levels) or that the class still has 4 kids per class, not allowing a lot of practice time with the coach. I understand the cost is high for the small group coaching as they have to pay the coaches & also for the overhead of the indoor and heated pool but seems like it could be a little less per month or have a greater sibling discount. But impressed overall & successful to help kids in their swimming journey.
Our daughter loves this place. Loves the water. Loves swim and learning new skills here. We trust the staff and they are all friendly and very knowledgeable.
It covers all aspects of water safety. I know my grandsons (ages 3,5, and 8) will be safe in case of an accident regarding pools or lakes. They know how to float on their backs and how to breathe properly. It has been worth every penny. All the instructors have been wonderful!!
