My grandson is autistic and he turns 9 a month ago. He’s happy to learn swimming in Aqua-tots school. He learns slower and not as strong as other children. He tried his best with his regular instructor (Jensen F.) and other make-up classes instructor. For him to inform me that he enjoys his swimming classes, he likes his instructors, and he is learning the skills slowly but diligently than these are good enough reasons for a “10”. Also the school is clean and organized.
However there’s 1 suggestion… after each class, my grandson and I will check out his progress on my phone and discuss his accomplishments and need works. On 12/22/2024 there was a master instructor on deck doing evaluation, I think. It was a shock to see NO STAR on any of his skills. I understand IF he didn’t do that skill but NONE at all. I made an excuse that they had forgotten. The confused and sad look on his face make me angry. How about a star for Effort!!!
I’m not looking for Olympian but a skill that he can gradually learn and use. Sensitively please.

Every employee is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It is clear they are trained very well with the skills necessary to effectively teach little ones to swim. It’s obvious their skill set goes far beyond that of a basic lifeguard training.
The facility is so clean. The sunken mats into the floor leading from the pool area to the changing rooms is far superior to just putting down cloth mats to absorb water and grow… stuff… as other swim schools do.
The changing table with hook for your bag makes it simple to change my little one while
Keeping everything off the floor. There are an abundance of changing rooms and they have hairdryers, hair-ties, lotion and other essentials in case you need them.
They clearly take pride in what they do. We love seeing all of the seasonal decorations change. They even list the birthday kids on the birthday board, making their day recognized and extra special.

Great, friendly staff and coaches. Super clean, clean place. Never feels crowded even though there’s classes going in and out every 15 mins or so. Great atmosphere. Super flexible with scheduling and make ups. Great job to all. Thank you. My girls love love love coming here. They’ve learned so much. I couldn’t be prouder.

My child has learned so much! The coaches are great at teaching the same skills repeatedly until mastery. I like getting the feedback after each class. I didn't give it a 10 because I've noticed that the coaches have been changing each time, but I think it's getting back to the same coach. It would be nice if make-up classes were specifici times and not open for each class. I like when the children and coach are the same for each lesson. Otherwise, the school is great and I always recommend you to everyone.

My daughter has been in the swim classes for about 5-6 months (we have had Jensen and Jay as coaches) and each class she has become more comfortable with the water, and I have become more confident in our safety around water. She loves the classes, and her swim teachers are exceptional! We have nothing but good things to say about Aqua tots!
