Overall, learning swimming life skills at the Aquatots Silverlake has been very enjoyable for my daughter and family. There are many coaches who are experienced and have great teaching abilities to make learning pleasant.
The staff are friendly and helpful and they get to know all the kids. Additionally, the facility is always clean.
One area for improvement is that the positive feedback of progress communicated by the coaches after swimming doesn't always make it into the skills chart which sometimes keeps the child stuck on the same skills for a long time. However once that's discussed with the team it is remedied. Our family is glad to know that our concerns are considered.
We hope longevity at this location for our child's swimming skills development and to continue recommending this location to our friends and family.
We love our classes and instructors! However, there are lots of small inconsistencies between instructors making it difficult implement feedback. Some skills are taught differently like clapping vs swaying before entering the water. We have also had some instructors tell us to work on high level skills since our son is very comfortable and willing to be in water and do skills. Other instructors have told us to focus on perfecting the same skills we are currently on. Either is fine, we would just like more consistent instruction.
The staff and coaches are very caring and are very passionate about what they do. Our baby loves the water and has become comfortable and confident in the water. Keep up the awesome work!
The supervisors and instructors we’ve had have been amazing. Alyssa, Roberto, Camillio, and Kaitlyn. They’re consistent, willing to challenge our daughter and us, and always remain professionalism. I would highly recommend this location.
Because the staff is very cooperative and very sweet. Instructors are very kind and patient with kids. And always try to accommodate and entertain people
I took my kid to Aqua Tots when he was 4 months and he did lessons for a few months and I enjoyed the experience with the staff back then. Now he is almost 4 years old and we are back and he has been super excited to go to swim lessons. The instructors are very patient with him and are very professional. I look forward to our experience with Aqua Tots for the second time.
My son absolutely loves swimming now (he started off very afraid of the water and not wanting to put his head underwater or even go in the pool at all his first visit). The team has been so patient with him. A huge shout out to Roberto whom my son absolutely adores.
Wonderful team of instructors.
It is a true swimming school with dedication to children and as a parent I did see the progress and success of my children while in each and every class. Politeness and respect towards myself and family was the main reason why I give it a 10 star!
Our instructors have been very descriptive in skill instruction and provide a reason for each skill and critique. Our baby loves his lessons, and so do we!
I scored Aqua-Tots Swim School a 10, because the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. I have encountered most of the staff and they all are very nice and professional but I have to individually recognize two young ladies by the names of Nancy and Lexi. Nancy is the first person I’ve spoke with before I signed my baby on to be apart of the school. As a new mom, I had so many questions and Nancy was so patient with me. She invited me to the facility to see a swim lesson in session. She is absolutely great for her roll. I truly appreciate her smiling face when I come into the facility. Also, Lexi, our swim coach, is great with toddlers. She is patient, she has encouraged me to not have any fear with my baby and the water and to just trust the process. She is personable and I can appreciate that, it helps make not only my baby but myself comfortable to allow my baby to perform at his highest potential. All and all, this location and the staff are amazing. I would recommend this school to any mom and dad that crosses my path.
