Well, here's what I like....I liked the feeling of walking into Arlington Velo Sports, for the first time, early on a Sunday morning and being greeted warmly (Mark Everett), feeling welcome and appreciated as though I'd spend a lot of money at the shop in the past. I simply needed the tires I'd purchased online seated on rims and filled with sealant. As he worked, Mark explained each step and why he preferred to do it that way. The best part...he didn't make me feel small after discovering I'd put the tires on the rims incorrectly, opposite the direction of travel. I left with pride intact, and was charged a fair amount. Yes, I'll return.
Amazingly knowledgeable, transparent with prices (and also very fair), and super friendly!
Their stock is also fantastic, and I love that they deal with recumbent trikes!
We visited the shop on 7 January for the first time to get rear derailleur on my ICE VTX working properly. Mark jumped on the issue immediately. In addition to dialing in the indexing he checked the alignment on the hanger and made an adjustment to the hanger. He then took the trike out for a test ride as a final check. This was really outstanding service and is much appreciated.
Everything!!!
This time I had someone “help me “ by mounting something on my carbon fiber frame by drilling a hole in it…. Noooooo
When I took it to Arlington velo bike shop, Mark the owner, said he new someone who repaired carbon fiber. So I asked him to call and have him look at it to make sure it was repairable, he got. Sick to me quickly and said that it was repairable and there would be nothing compromised within the frame. It would be as strong as it was before..
After about 2 week he got my frame back and put it all back together, when I went to pick it up I could not even tell where the damage was. they did a great job… extremely happy with the repairs and the service I received.
