I bought a previously own unit [actually 2 for a split entry] and have had issuers only with the unit with a folding track to the lower level as it has to be on the upper part of the track to charge and sometimes we forget to run it back up to charge. I have been a lifelong tinkered but these a complex units that have a lot of safety feature and without an operations schematic it is hard to do more than basic repairs. The service people are pleasant and helpful tho. Finally bought the yearly maintenance plan to avoid frustration,

We needed a stair lift. Called Arrow Blaine because their business was close to where we live. Arrow sent Charlie out to get the specifications defined. 2 inclines and 4 90 degree bends. Took about the expected 6 weeks to deliver/install. Installation was completed just in time. The family member needing it was released from a month of rehab following surgery 2 days later. Recovery is so much better when you can be at home.
