We love this school. Our 4-year old is going into her 3rd year in August & she loves it here. 10/10. We are very happy with the classroom child/teacher ratios, and each of her teachers brings a different (but professionally and caring) approach to their work. When I pick her up, she tells me it was “the best day ever” pretty much every day. Plus, she will randomly display brand new skills at home which I never taught her. It’s clear to me that’s she’s picking up a lot of really good life skills, social skills, confidence - and all while having fun - each day in the classroom.
There has been a lot of leadership change with the administration, but these changes have been very positive recently. The new head of school is extremely approachable, visible, and committed to her work. We can see that they’re striving for a direction and standard which we admire.
We love the Guides, education on global citizenship and foreign language, outdoor play and gardening, music and art! The lunch program has been an awesome addition. Finally, we are excited about the new administrative team and want to shout out Ms. Sunny in particular for her openness to feedback, responsiveness, and vision for our school.
The teachers and school community. While there has been high turnover in the administration since we've been at AMIS, we have loved the overall community and Montessori ethos.
I love my son's teachers, Miss Leyeda & Miss Dee! I've also seen such a difference this past year in the programs that the school has offered. which has been great
I am both a parent and a working staff at AMIS cliff valley!!
I would 💯% recommended it to all friends and family..what a wonderful way of learning and child lead education system.
Friendly management and wonderful teachers who love kids are their own !!
Our experience with the Sprouts Community, teachers, and all staff at AMIS has been exceptional. Moving from another daycare in Atlanta, we’ve been blown away at the focus of education, learning, and immersion at AMIS vs. simply “babysitting” that other daycares tend to lean into. The school is very well run and cannot express enough how wonderful Ms. D and Ms. Leyda have been for our almost 2yo. They should be recognized for all that they do inside the classroom and connecting the community outside of it as well.
All staff and teacher interactions were warm and welcoming. I loved the opportunity to observe each classroom before deciding in which room my child would be placed. The environment is clean, well constructed/designed and spacious with incredible outdoor and playground areas. The curriculum is intentional and well-rounded for even the youngest students. I've been impressed by how much they engage even the babies to meet important milestones. I pop up unexpectedly often and am always impressed how the room is managed.
We have been very pleased with the initiatives of the new administration focusing on improved communication, community engagement, and services (e.g., lunch program, extracurriculars, music, art). We also have incredible lead guides- Ms. Vanessa (infant) and Ms. Nena (primary) this school year and totally trust that our children are having an excellent experience in the classroom.
My son went to primary here and graduated to elementary..he look forward to come to school everyday and enjoy learning in fun way ..glad to be a part of AMIS!!
