So, the front desk was on point. (Kept getting our tail number mixed up, but I do too somedays.)
The only "opportunity for improvement" I saw was on the line? The guys that parked us and fueled us did fine. But as we were getting ready to depart (thankfully empty) a base tenant's airplane was loading up. Their pax arrived in three cars and the entire line staff swarmed them. (they were parked adjacent to our plane).
They parked the cars right in front of our right wing... as we were trying to leave. And everyone was SO scope-locked on the base customer that we couldn't get anyone's attention. We're flashing lights, cycling the right TR, nothing. Six guys in vests, nobody looking around. We had to shut down (the left engine) get out and go tap someone on the shoulder to make them realize that they have us completely blocked in. I worked line for years, they could have cleared the cars, done a lot of different things. Biggest issue is 12 eyeballs, and no one maintaining S/A.
We were empty, so it was just mildly annoying? But that level of inattention can translate into tragedy. So for what its worth. Great facility, always enjoy coming to SJC. Cheers.

They had pumped the wrong amount of fuel into my plane, however they did not charge me for the extra which I was very surprised about. Everyone was courteous, efficient and friendly.
