Our flight department (Gulfstream N870CM) frequently travels to SJC. We are a heavy international account but use Atlantic Aviation facilities at SCJ and MDW. We specifically selected these facilities over the competitors because of the quality of the service, support, and amenities. Our crew members appreciate Atlantic Aviation SJC for the professionalism, consistency, and efficient service we receive.
However, the broader organization is quickly moving towards consolidating all business with Signature Aviation (including at SJC). This is because of Atlantic’s movement towards unfavorable policies and pricing in contrast to the competition which has shown to be more accommodating. This is unfortunate and I would hope local GM’s are communicating what is probably common sentiment of other operators to higher leadership within Atlantic.
Perhaps some sort of reconciliation will occur but I’m concerned that we’re almost certainly headed towards leaving Atlantic SJC (and MDW). Is there anything that can be done to preserve our mutually beneficial relationship?
