I wanted to give a shoutout to Curtis Bailey, a member of the line. He went above and beyond getting our tail ready for our departure out of KSRQ. He handled all the services to include catering, ice, papers, fuel, and trash. However, the best of Curtis's services was his happiness and positive attitude at 6am.

Excellent team. We needed a tight turn but the fuel trucks were all busy. One of the line guys informed us the situation and told us when to expect our fuel would completed. A little communication is very helpful! Thanks team!
So far, everything has been good. Generally my requests are handled in a timely manner. I do try to give a 30 minute window to my actual departure. Time to make sure services are complete. No big deal. Just a buffer. I know they get busy.
General comment for aircraft marshalers: Please have the marshal who will be at the nose remain stationary using the standard one wand up, one wand forward so flight crews can understand how the aircraft will be oriented upon completion of the parking maneuver. Marshalers moving around and using varieties of hand signals instead of the stationary position displaying final orientation induce confusion.
