I love my local Chuck & Dons. I go usually once a week. I look forward to seeing “my people” whom work there, and usually there’s some kind of deal going on where I walk out feeling like I just got a bonus. It’s got a small business vibe (I’m a small business owner) and in this day and age of out of control corporate capitalism, I feel better about my money going to the smaller proprietor. Plus they don’t carry the “junky” stuff, so I feel like I’m feeding my 4 cats healthily. I prefer to spend a little more on healthy pet food to hopefully avoid gigantic Vet bills.
