Our son who is only 6 years old has learned a lot from his piano teacher, Mr Tim. He started lessons when he was about 5 and a half and didn’t have much of an attention span. Tim is very patient with him. To keep my son engaged and interested in learning, he allows my son to suggest and play songs from movies (e.g., Star Wars) rather than traditional beginner songs like Mary Had a Little Lamb.

I love the small school feel of Bach to Rock and the personalized approach that the instructors take. They really listen to their students and are in tune (haha, pun intended) with kids' needs and wants. They make learning to play fun and interesting, never a chore. I also love all of the opportunities that we have to participate in performances and community events.

Bach to Rock Music School My special needs daughter takes individual drumming lessons here, and we’ve had a great experience. The staff is consistent, patient, and wonderful with her. Her instructor, Mark, is knowledgeable and very patient, and I’ve seen a real improvement in Isabella’s skills and confidence. They even held a recital where she gave an individual performance, which meant so much to our family. Highly recommend, especially for children who benefit from individualized instruction.

In the one week that I sent my Son to Bach to Rock for band camp, the 4-5 person group learned THREE songs! The last day of camp (Friday), the teachers had the parents watch the performance in a dedicated staging area. The band sounded spot on! Instruments included were drums/guitar/bass guitar/keyboard and of course there were vocals. I give super kudos to the teachers who taught the group the particular instruments needed for the songs. We even received an online recording of the show! Bach to Rock is a quality location to choose for camps/lessons and any other music related activity for your child. We will return again!

My daughter has had a wonderful experience with all her lessons with Sam. She is excited about going to her lessons, she enjoys practicing, she feels comfortable asking questions when she doesn't remember or understand something. I always get a quick feedback at the end of each lesson and my daughter looks forward to learning how to read and play music!
