I like the original equipment and atmosphere. I am thinking about canceling my membership due to the switch over to “Chuze”. Stupid name, stupid bright colors, bad equipment that’s made for people who just be going to F45. Bring back old simple gyms.
can we upgrade the Merrill Road location soon? I know the larger locations are being done first but I love our smaller gym and I would love to see some upgrade soon. Ceiling is falling apart due to leaks. floor padding in the weight room is torn up. paint and machines are old
I've been a member of Bailey's for about 15 years and I been going to Merrill Road almost everyday for the past 5. A little bird told me this location was closing. Please don't close. It's a great spot. The people that frequent this location love it. Leave it open.
I have been going to the location for over 7 years and is great place for the people around the area, but there are a few things that could improve the customer service. The heat in this summer is really high and going in the gym that has no a/c working well or fans that are not properly updated, makes the heat worse. There are 2 ladies that do the cleaning and they do great, unfortunately they are not there all the time. The equipment should be in shape for daily use, sometimes they take weeks to get them fixed.
I was recently charged to my card twice because the lady at the front desk said that my card was expired but I showed her my card that is up to date. She wrote a note on the computer about it and get my money back but unfortunately I haven't heard back and is about 2-3 weeks.
I love the Merrill Road location. It's like a small family there. If you don't show up one day the members and staff want to know where you were and if you're ok. I was saddened to hear that the location is going to be closing in November.
I like the atmosphere, friendly staff, the athletic training room, and that it has variation of equipment to achieve my goals. Most of all I appreciate that it has a pit shark machine, which is a rare find in most gyms.
It has its own dichotomy, nice comfortable neighborhood weight gym, always people there but never crowded. It's just a real cool place with it own really cool workout feel.
I frequent several Chuze locations, and this one stands out beyond the rest for a lot of reasons. It is not the biggest or newest and it is the employees here who make all the difference - especially John and Taonya.
The Merril road facility has excellent friendly and professional customer service. Unlike other Chuze fitness locations, this gym’s equipmemt is consistently well maintained and in excellent working order. The workout experience is pleasant and the gym is not overcrowded.
