I like the warm & welcoming staff who are always helpful. For example, Rebecca, Charlie, and Jackson are some of those who routinely add value to my fitness visits. I love the recovery area with the IR Sauna, Hydro massage, and generally chill environment. I use the lift lab which is good, but I especially appreciate the new equipment in the main lift area. I hardly ever have to wait for a station to do my face pulls & other pulley exercises.
I enjoy the smoothie offerings especially the Java Jolt & PB Cup.
It is a very nice gym the new equipment most of it is great. The only new items that are not working for me are the sit down or recumbent bikes they are very uncomfortable. They are keeping the gym clean.As a suggestion I would have someone clean at the front door it is your first impression as you walk in it always full assorted trash and leaves. But I enjoy the group cleaning the inside.
It would be hard to do but get people off their phone when sitting on equipment. I know you use the phones to enter some people just don't respect others and move on. I personally would like a phone free gym but that's me.
Staff is friendly, ithis gym is always clean. Equipment is well maintained and replaced. If equipment is down for whatever reason, that equipment is fixed quickly

Before I start, I'd like to say that I love this gym and always rave about it. I am beyond happy with my membership. As a business owners and former restaurant manager, the points below are my honest observations based on my work experience.
The only fault I can give the St Augustine location is cleanliness and lack of floor awareness.
Until Dec of 2025 it was a regular morning occurrence to have staff sanitizing, cleaning, mopping, and sweep the ladies room. Since the beginning of the year, that practice has slowed to a virtual stop and it is apparent. I am at the gym from 8-9:30am five days a week. There are typically 2-4 staff members at the front desk. I am certain there is 10 minutes in someone's shift to do general bathroom checks.
I feel the same about equipment pick up. with that many people on the clock, can't someone, maybe two people, come to the back room and spend 10 minutes tidying up the equipment members leave around?
Overflowing garbage cans and garbage all over the pavement greets you at the front door most mornings. With a broom, dust pan, and five minutes of time, that could be taken care of. This one really get to me. I am not sure how a manager could have members stepping over garbage to get to the front door. First impressions and all.
Honestly, these points could be quickly addressed by management and made part of everyone's shift duties. Other than that, this gym makes my heart smile. I cannot imagine a day without it in my life. The staff is always pleasant and greets you when coming and going. They are wonderful people who just need a few more minutes of work given to them daily.
I really like the new upgrades to the St Aug Florida location, I do wish they had better lightning. I used to go to Amped in Daytona and it had great lightning. I hope they keep subbing out the old equipment because the new equipment is definitely giving ChuZe the upgrade it needed.
Since its changed to Chuze fitness I love all the new amenties that they have and plus my membership did not go up from being Baileys. Love the saunas , the massage chairs , red light therapy etc. I love my classes as I have build great love of working out and also friendships and accountability
We appreciate the rennovations made to the St. Augustine facility in May. It's great to have new equipment and a tighter floorplan. The staff is working hard to keep it clean and the service is friendly.
