Ivanna and Kaye are the nicest staff members. They are professional, knowledgeable, and very patient. I will highly recommend anyone to come see them to sign up
I’ve been a member since 2010.
-I put my account on pause from 2[PHONE NUMBER REMOVED] while serving duty in Japan.
-Returned from Japan on Oct 2016 and started my account back in full swing.
-I was a bit optimistic when Chuze took over with the remodeling.
-Now that it is complete I like it!
-Only thing I would change at the St Johns location is to update the plate load legs equipment.
Some locations have a broad range of different equipment some are lacking.
Over all me and my Ole lady bounce between San Jose/Sun Beam, Beach & St Johns, Dunn/Lem Turner, once in a while Merrill rd.
Gainseville 1-2 times a year.
Oakleaf….. toooo boochie (snooty people) and I don’t like the pin load machines layout.
To mix match to super set.
Example- Leg extension machine, then three upper body machines, then a hamstring curl machine. Make it flow…… just my thoughts 💭
First, I liked the fact that it was spread out. You didn’t feel like you were on top of anyone. I loved the treadmills on the second floor overlooking the gym. Also a little private area to stretch.
I liked that there was several squat, dead lift areas and again I did not feel like I was in anyone’s face or on top of anyone
what I was most impressed I didn’t see it until I started walking out was the dark blue light room with squat machines more free weights I loved that it was the vibe everything I would drive just for that room
But overall, I loved the layout of the gym
The gym closest to my house is 103rd definitely needs an update.
This Chuze location is one Bailey's biggest with lots of space so you don't feel cramped. It has a wide variety of members which makes it interesting too, very ethnic. I choose Chuze locations accordiing to a locations accommodations and this one suits me 3 out of 5 times. Changing locations of my workouts keeps them from getting boring too and each Chuze has its own character. Baileys/Chuze is still the best option for a workout with respect to price and features. Finally the Red Light booths are working during staffed hours and for those of you who havent experienced the energy BOOST a red light session can give, you are missing out. I've found my workouts go a little better and a little longer when I've had some INFRARED light exposure.
The renovations are nice. I have learned the new placement and can get through my workout quickly. There are a few machines that are in need of repair (signs are posted). Bathroom is tidy.
As an elderly man, I have found equipment to meet my needs. I have maintained my legs, my back, my spine, my neck and upper body and arms. I have worked out since 12 yrs old. Some ove those I met in the gym are regulars who are friendly and also loyal...
