I like the type of pickle ball nets used at Bay View and think they are certainly a better investment. I believe the type of net should be in place at all area YMCA's, especially at East Side in Penfield, as they type of nets they used are extremely clumsy to set up and are continuously being "bent" or even broken due to the way they are required to be put together.
Would recommend you share the type of net with all are YMCA's
Thanks and have a great day
I like the pool group classes for fitness and camaraderie. Mary C. even does inspiring quotes at the end of her classes. I am also enjoying classes with Karen because of the dance part of the 10:30 Tuesday classes and then the balance class in the afternoon. The revived attention to the Active Older Adult program is refreshing. The educational talks, crafts, and games are a great addition to the programming at the Bay View Y.
I love the senior classes. However, I would suggest allowing guest participants - for an affordable fee. I have relatives who visit Rochester regularly who would like to attend while here for the season
We have two boys in Swim lessons at Bay View YMCA. They enjoy the classes and the teachers are great at keeping them on track while helping them move forward!
As a recent new member, I am continuing the cardiac exercises that I had been doing at the UR cardiac rehab center following my heart attack. The machines in the Bayside wellness gym are very similar to those i had used previously. The staff has been helpful to answer any questions about the equipment that I have had. I look forward to getting involved with some other strength building programs once I get my cardiologist's go-ahead.
