I recently purchased a 30-day pass after attending Dub Club Yoga's hot yoga fundraiser. I loved the atmosphere of the studio and the positive energies coming from the staff. Since purchasing the pass I have attended multiple hot yoga sessions and they have all exceeded my expectations. I do not feel judged or unworthy even though I have terrible balance and I am not nearly as flexible as some of the other students in classes. Everyone is very encouraging and helpful and I have found this to be one of the better studios in Wilmington.
Christina's classes were very complete. She covered almost every pose in the book. Her meditive focus and the precise cues were excellent.
As a yoga teacher, I really appreciated her style and the opening meditation.
While there were a few too many Down Dog Chattaranga vinyasas without Camel preps, thankfully not as many as some classes I have taken, but I understand that the philosophy of Sri K.Pattahbi Jois has deeply influenced Western Yoga teaching. I also know this is a common practice in every yoga class I have taken in Wilmington, many people expect it now and I know I can skip them if I want to!
