We rented two bikes and a kids’ trailer, and the pickup/dropoff process could not have been easier. The bikes were very comfortable to ride, and our two young kids were happy in the trailer (this was their first time riding in a bike trailer). The shop is close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, where we had a lovely (and easy) first ride as a family.

My wife and I rented two e-bikes on two separate days. We had great service and the equipment was top-of-the-line.

They are available to try and buy

Wendell do everything to keep him. Excellent mechanic.

friendly, easy to talk to

Fast and reliable service. Friendly and competent staff.

The knowledgeable staff spent the time to find out exactly what I needed my e-assist upgrade for on my recumbent tricycle ensuring it met my needs.

Every aspect of my experience has been positive. As a grumpy old man I appreciate the knowledgable, friendly and patient staff. They helped me find the bike I needed and, perhaps as importantly these days, not more. Tune-up turnaround quicker than estimated. Thanks all, you rock.

Friendly, respectful staff who explain things in simple terms.

Technicians at Ben's Bike are competent and conscientious working on our recumbent trikes. Thank guys so much

Service was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The size helmet I needed was ordered and arrived promptly as promised.

To start with, I'm often recommending Ben's Bikes to folks on the Discovery Trail who stop and ask me questions about my electric assist recumbent bike. Some of them have asked about how it is for back problems. I tell them it has been wonderful for mine, and suggest they talk to Ben's and consider renting one for a few days to see how they feel after riding. Also, shout out to Shane who is my bike assembler and mechanic. He is very knowledgeable and helpful when I have questions or want to make changes like getting a better grip tire to ride on unpaved trails. I really appreciate that they will pick-up and deliver my recumbent bike when it needs to go to the shop for maintenance. All in all, very happy and appreciate them all.

Thorough tune-up...But...I need to take it for a short test ride to confirm.

Mostly real people willing to work with anyone any way they think they can help.

I have an "old" HP Velotechnik FX20 that I got from the Shipley Center in Sequim. I wrote Germany and asked if they could tell me the age of my "HP" from the Serial Number. Here is what the German HP Factory replied ... "your frame was welded July 2007, the trike was assembled late 2007 to early 2008 (after welding a batch of frames they age at least 3 months before taken into trike assembling." "this bike model has undergone a number of improvements in the meantime (it is, in a sense, the grandfather of the current Scorpion fx model)" Notice ... "July 2007" ... and ... "grandfather". SOoooo ... my "HP" is almost 20 years old!! An old clunker in the Recumbent Trike world. I did a DIY install of a 750w CYC Photon Gen2 motor. "HP" rides OK. BUT ... I made the 2 hour drive to Ben's Bikes on Saturday March 14 ... just to get a "Professional Tuneup". This review does not allow Photos ... so I cannot include a BEFORE and AFTER photo that summarizes all I have written above. But here is a weblink of BEFORE and AFTER photos of cars ... to give you an idea of what I think of the work that Ben's Bikes did on my "old" HP Velotechnik FX20 ... just 3 days ago on March 14, 2026 ... [https://www.classiccarrestorationclub.com/post/10-restoration-transformations]. I have ridden my HP Velotechnik FX20 twice since last Saturday. I rode about 7 miles on Sunday ... and 8 miles yesterday (Monday). It does not ride like something I would expect from a ~20 year old trike ....... but rides like it is brand new. The photos in the weblink above show old clunkers that have been restored to NEW ... and that is exactly what my "HP" now rides like. To me ... it is like ... Ben's Bikes (i.e., Wendell) RESTORED my old "HP" ... like the cars in the weblink!!! :-)

Had picked up an used 'Alinker' adult walking trike for my Aunt.  Needed assistance with changing out the seat, correct adjustment and a quick servicing. Service was excellent with good advice.  She LOVES her new dog in sunglasses bike bell :-)

Great service and workmanship!

Staff is friendly, helpful and explains what needs to be done at tune-up time and whenever I've had a problem with my Trek. Everything I've needed for safe biking is available at the store and the staff explains the products well. Fair prices, work is always done by promised time.

Professional experts that delivered ahead of schedule.

The folks at Ben's Bikes did a great job replacing my brake pads, and they had it ready for me the same day. They are easy going, friendly, skilled and professional.
