Thorough tune-up...But...I need to take it for a short test ride to confirm.

Mostly real people willing to work with anyone any way they think they can help.

I have an "old" HP Velotechnik FX20 that I got from the Shipley Center in Sequim. I wrote Germany and asked if they could tell me the age of my "HP" from the Serial Number. Here is what the German HP Factory replied ... "your frame was welded July 2007, the trike was assembled late 2007 to early 2008 (after welding a batch of frames they age at least 3 months before taken into trike assembling." "this bike model has undergone a number of improvements in the meantime (it is, in a sense, the grandfather of the current Scorpion fx model)" Notice ... "July 2007" ... and ... "grandfather". SOoooo ... my "HP" is almost 20 years old!! An old clunker in the Recumbent Trike world. I did a DIY install of a 750w CYC Photon Gen2 motor. "HP" rides OK. BUT ... I made the 2 hour drive to Ben's Bikes on Saturday March 14 ... just to get a "Professional Tuneup". This review does not allow Photos ... so I cannot include a BEFORE and AFTER photo that summarizes all I have written above. But here is a weblink of BEFORE and AFTER photos of cars ... to give you an idea of what I think of the work that Ben's Bikes did on my "old" HP Velotechnik FX20 ... just 3 days ago on March 14, 2026 ... [https://www.classiccarrestorationclub.com/post/10-restoration-transformations]. I have ridden my HP Velotechnik FX20 twice since last Saturday. I rode about 7 miles on Sunday ... and 8 miles yesterday (Monday). It does not ride like something I would expect from a ~20 year old trike ....... but rides like it is brand new. The photos in the weblink above show old clunkers that have been restored to NEW ... and that is exactly what my "HP" now rides like. To me ... it is like ... Ben's Bikes (i.e., Wendell) RESTORED my old "HP" ... like the cars in the weblink!!! :-)

Had picked up an used 'Alinker' adult walking trike for my Aunt.  Needed assistance with changing out the seat, correct adjustment and a quick servicing. Service was excellent with good advice.  She LOVES her new dog in sunglasses bike bell :-)

Great service and workmanship!

Staff is friendly, helpful and explains what needs to be done at tune-up time and whenever I've had a problem with my Trek. Everything I've needed for safe biking is available at the store and the staff explains the products well. Fair prices, work is always done by promised time.

Professional experts that delivered ahead of schedule.

The folks at Ben's Bikes did a great job replacing my brake pads, and they had it ready for me the same day. They are easy going, friendly, skilled and professional.

Very informative and helpful.

Customer service! George is the best!!

Friendlier atmosphere at checkout. Older guy is pretty grouchy

They very respectfully answer my questions regarding bicycle maintenance.

Ben's Bikes is an amazing bike shop in Sequim. They have a great selection of bikes and a wonderful staff of mechanics who really know what they are doing. We actually purchased two bikes elsewhere (because we wanted belt-drive) and Ben's Bikes assembled them for us. They were professional, efficient and quick. Very good review for Ben's Bikes!

I always enjoyed and appreciate dropping off one of my two bikes to be repaired there. It's because it's my very favorite bike shop in the world (and I have traveled to 155 countries to date). It's because the service is excellent, honest, and not exactly reasonable, but worth it. Stefan and Wendel are super people...always professional and dependable. I appreciated the patience and flexibility of the staff. While I went in with a dream, I quickly learned that my dream was out of my budget. Nonetheless, the staff members worked diligently to find different options that suited my budget and my needs. They were patient with me while I waged the mental war of wants vs. needs. I am new to bike riding so it was a lot of information but they patiently and kindly walked me through the gears and different styles of bikes. When I settled on a bike I liked they helped me customize it to my preferences right then and there. I added a kick stand, a new seat, and they helped put the seat at the perfect height for me. They even offered to let me test drive it but I am far too self-conscious for that. I purchased the bike on 100% trust. However, I feel it’s a good service for a shop to offer for those who are looking to get a feel for the bike before they purchase. All in all 10/10 experience and I love the bike, it’s perfect for me!

The staff were friendly and super helpful!

Honest. Clean store. Responsive.

Prompt competent service. Go to Ben’s for all your cycling needs!

Very friendly. Good advice. Quick service.

Whatever it takes to keep Wendell there. Only reason I have to come to the shop. Excellent mechanic
