Good level and amount of equipment, I can manage to get around using the equipment most of the time that I want to. I wish there was a couple more 10kg bells though as I cannot always get access to one as there is only one. The showers have not been too great recently but this is only the last week or so.
The swimming pool at the leisure centre is modern and is always clean. The changing facilities are good and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I enjoy my visits even more now the piped music has stopped.
I think the inclusion of the golf courses is brilliant and has really encouraged me to play again. Badminton is great tho do find the lights a bit too bright at times. Swimming look good and something I will definitely try, not so sure about the gym, but that's just me!
Overall i think the facilities and environment are great, and a real asset to Bath.
I really enjoy Zumba and yoga with Mirella and Waterfit with Jess at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre. I've tried other instructors and what makes those two exceptional is that they talk through and demonstrate the exercises repeatedly, they vary the exercises week to week and the music they choose is fun and appeals to the age range of the participants i.e. not just Ibiza trance music aimed at 20 year olds.
I also appreciate the range of classes that are available through the week and think that the package is good value for money. It is also great having a discount on parking.
The Bath sports centre is greatly improved since it was first built (I have known it that long!) and the new swimming changing area works very well. I am impressed by its cleanliness - I have witnessed staff cleaning thoroughly.
