The staff are fabulous they make you feel at ease offering great encouragement and advice . The site is well kept and very clean The equipment is well maintained and any problems are sorted out quickly. There is always a member of staff available to ask be it in reception,gym or swimming pool.

The different venues that we can use gives more choice of classes. The problem is that you often can’t get into a class and go on a waiting list which you get very little notice of when the class becomes available - it makes forward planning very difficult! The new venues are clean and welcoming. The studio at Energise in Acomb has a lot of mould growing on the walls and ceiling.

Great classes, great facilities and staff. Some of the stereo systems need sorting out in studio cycle and everything could be cleaned better, a janitor/cleaner would not go a miss to wipe down mats properly after use, wet mop main hall as in circuits you can feel the dirt and see it on you when on you hands and knees mid excercise... Or at least have plenty of spray and better encourage cleaning after every class, I see wet (from sweat) mats get hung up every week. Cycle studio is wiped down and it is encouraged after every class, so it mainly gym and main hall and classes in the studio.

Good choice of hours in which to attend - seven days, open early and late. Comfortable changing room and shower. Plenty of equipment. Always a member of staff around to consult. Very reasonable membership fee (I'm on the Healthwise scheme).
