The site is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The instructor for the Aqua-Fit, keeps us going, going, going...so we feel happy and healthy.
All good.
This is highly effective local facility that benefits the entire community. Iy is well run and has a policy of aiming to accommodate the needs of the entire community and does so effectively. I value it highly
The lifeguards/swimming instructors so helpful.
I am currently swimming and rehabbing a recent knee replacement. Without me having to ask I was given advice which helped so much. Thank you.
Trying the gym tomorrow.
A very well organised, clean and compact leisure centre with helpful friendly staff. Personal Trainer Phil has been very instructive and helpful in setting up and supporting my exercise regime. Because I've not been overwhelmed by the program and he has taken into account my general level of (un)fitness and age when drawing up my program, which was fully discussed with me, I'm coping well with it. I attend regularly twice a week and intend to continue doing so. Free parking is just yards away, all within pleasant parkland surroundings. Equipment is first class (I use the gym only, not pool) and in good working order, there's a good variety of exercise machines, as well as free weights and other exercise equipment. Free showers, very cheap hairdrying and locker facilities, plus small private changing cubicles and a separate disabled access shower with lockable door and chairs. It's never crowded when I visit - I choose 8am daily as crowded and noisy situations are difficult for me to handle (I'm Autistic). I'm on the Social Prescription scheme so my monthly payments are currently less than regular membership fees, but this leisure centre is still very reasonably priced, which makes it affordable when many other leisure centres are not. Overall, the best gym I've ever used. Husband is also about to be recommended under the Social Prescription scheme.
