I like Pentwyn pool because it is always nice and warm. My local is Eastern Leisure centre and I don't like early closing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is far too early. I use the gym here at Eastern Leisure centre and I like to go late afternoon and evenings but can't go at all at weekends because it closes very early.

Good to become a member. It was easy to sign up. It did take a while for me to stop getting e-mails telling me that my membership wasn't fully activated but i was assured this would eventually settle and it did. Staff are very helpful at the Centre. I wonder if it would be worth flagging up the benefits of membership more actually in the centre and for the centres to remind you what's on offer with your membership so that you can be making the most of it.

Very friendly, personable reception. Offers to bring guest members. Wide range of classes. I enjoy boxercise and, occasionally, spin. Accommodating flexible management. Act quickly to address requests etc.

Good instructors. You can park without logging in your car. It's not as enclosed as llanishen. Feels more like a community hub than a prison.
