I had a fantastic experience at Bicycle Centres of Silverlake! I was looking to transition from my hybrid electric bike to my very first road bike (X-Lab RS7), and Justin made the entire process incredibly smooth. He was highly knowledgeable, patient, and completely low pressure. He focused on giving me the guidance and detailed information I needed to make the right choice rather than trying to make a quick sale. It is a wonderful place to shop, and I highly recommend asking for Justin if you want an honest, informative, and supportive buying experience!

Walked in with a broken custom-made crank on my bike and was fortunate to find a nice gentleman named Arron, who immediately took it as a challenge to discover the problem and fix it. I was out the door within 20 minutes. Thanks Aaron!!

Will and associates will do research to find whatever part or item that is needed or desired by the customer. Then the repair or upgrade is completed. If the update can’t be done, they won’t try to sell you something else instead. I trust them to work on my Rodriquez 16 year old Ranier Light bike which to me is still the most comfortable to ride.

They've been so good as mechanics, especially with them being across the street from my home. They give excellent suggestions for best bike safety equipment and suggestions for best quality products and product options, especially when you have to budget. These guys are great 👍.

The team is very friendly and helpful. When I picked up my bike they told me about the issue (contaminated disc brakes). I asked them how I could prevent it and they told me how to fix the issue if it comes up again. Service time was super quick as well.

This particular shop has a very professional friendly bicycle service team. They were responsive to our request for brake service, but found a crank sprocket needing immediate replacement due to safety concerns that they had - and we realized we had - for our son's BMX bike. They ordered the part and kept us informed about part delivery during the 10 day window that our son was without a bike. When the part arrived it far exceeded the quality of the OEM part, and repair was completed within four hours. Total repair cost ($100) included the brake pads, adjustment, sprocket gear and install) was very reasonable. Their advice is always knowledgeable and timely and their repairs (when parts are on hand) or for adjustments are usually on the spot or next day. A month earlier, they helped us scope a search for new handle bars, and we were able purchase the part on line and our son completed the install. Bicycle Centres of Silverlake is and always has been a great destination for bikes, accessories and helpful service. Check out their new location - it Rocks!

Bikcyle Centres of Silverlake had a great selection of bikes and excellent customer service! I didn’t have to wait to order a bike. I was able to pick one out, ride it around, actually test out two bikes, and leave with the bike I wanted that same day. Dan was awesome and helped me find the right bike and a lock that fit my needs. I also never felt rushed. He took the time to show me how to remove the front tire, make small adjustments on the bike, and explained how the handlebars could be adjusted in four different ways. The first person who helped me, whose name I unfortunately can’t remember, was also super helpful and showed me another bike option. Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. Another team member even explained that they can take orders over the phone, so if I decide to order the Burley trailer from them, they’ll install it on my bike. They pulled it up online and walked me through everything. I was there for about 90 minutes and had excellent customer service the entire time. I’ll definitely be ordering my Burley trailer from them, along with all of my biking equipment from now on. Great place and highly recommended!

Thanks to Jesse, Will and the crew for getting my son's 20-year old Dagger BMX ready to ride again! It was an early Father's Day gift for my son, who has two son's, ages 5 and 3. In a few years, they'll be riding it and it was great to walk out of the store with a restored bike. I'm very thankful for the work done, and would highly recommend Bicycle Centres of Silverlake!
