I had benefitted from having several conversations with Kyle concerning purchasing a new bike that would be better suited to my age (78) and physical limitations making my treasured at one time high end road bike difficult for my current skills. The Trek FX2 was the bike Kyle and I determined to be a good next step for my cycling longevity. So on a rainy Tuesday afternoon I stopped by the shop to buy that bike while picking up my old bike that was being serviced. Of course, I immediately learned that the shop is closed to customers on Tuesdays. At the same time Jason agreed to help me and we engaged in discussions of customizing the FX and actually making those changes at the same time that eventually facilitated me being able to drive home with my new bike. I am very grateful to Kyle for those initial conversations about what to purchase and also so grateful to Jason for taking the time with me to turn the imagined into a reality. In addition, everyone in the service department was super friendly while the FX got readied for the sale. My experience with the Bicycle Doctor was great as it combines high quality merchandise with experienced and wise sales personel backed up by a friendly and super competent service department.

The service at the Bicycle Doc is awesome. The guys are all helpful and knowledgeable whether working on your bike or helping to select a bike. It's been my choice for four years. I've bought my bikes there and when needed I've had them serviced there and never been disappointed.

I needed a new seat post for my mountain bike along with some other maintenance work. The shop tech was quick to note the unusual mounting angle of my seat. He was knowledgeable and very helpful with picking out a replacement seat post that better fit my preferred ride height. But here is the best part: Instead of just replacing my seat post and remounting my bicycle seat, he measured the angle I had my seat set to before taking things apart, so he could mount my seat just the way I like it on the new seat post. That attention to detail and care for the customer really stood out. The other work I had done was also completed well and everyone I encountered was helpful and welcoming. This reinforces prior good experiences I have had here. I’ve found my go-to bike shop.
