The crew at BGI Southport (and all their locations to be honest) are the absolute best. I've been a cyclist for many years, and quite frankly I've never had better service, friendlier people, and the best prices for service than I've had with BGI. New to cycling or seasoned veteran, BGI is the place to go.
Staff very helpful, even though an hour before closing. Appreciate the knowledge and genuine interest in assisting my selection. Luke was great to deal with.
I love everything about you guys! The service👍, the prices👍, quality 👍👍! Forget about it! I've been coming to both stores since before you joined forces. (Goat & BXG). You've always been there for me and I appreciate that, especially since my bikes are my business.
I'd love to here back from you real soon with my replacement 26" wheel that I returned a week after I bought it broken on the seem. And maybe you already have. Let me give you my number you can call me today. [PHONE NUMBER REMOVED] or [PHONE NUMBER REMOVED]

Every person I talked to was kind, patient and extremely informative. We have plans to bring the rest of our bikes in for tuneups. Happy to have a local resource that is friendly and helpful.
I bought a Giant Talon 4 that I ordered on the BGI site. They had the exact model and size I wanted in stock. I met Luke Ogden at BGI to complete the transaction. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, including details about potentially trading a bike in that was previously bought at BGI and technical questions on a future purchase. Before leaving he gave the bike a thorough checkout and found/fixed a slight squeak on the rear brae handle/actuator.
Also, the showroom is well stocked. I'd definitely recommend BGI to others. I drove about 40 minutes to get the bike, since I needed it for a Christmas present and BGI was the only one who had it in stock.
Everyone I have encountered at this location is friendly and willing to take time to listen to issues with a bike, or have questions about what is happening when I am riding. Their maintenance has been good and timely, they are busy but give a reasonable timeline for completing a repair. I have purchased several bikes over the years and had annual tuneups. The only issue I have ever had after a tuneup, one that wasn't apparent until I was on the road placing some stress on the shifting, was quickly resolved with a part replacement.
I like the new location on Southport Rd., easier access in and out with traffic.
