Truly my biggest complaint and reason that I would struggle with recommending PF if the need for a bank account to sign up. Like, if you guys have a date leak, that account pays my mortgage. I opened up an alternate bank account just to sign up and that felt ridiculous.
As for Biddeford specifically I think it's reasonably clean in there, everyone is polite, the price is fair. It's generally all wins. I do wish that you had some free-benches rather than just the smith-machines because I feel like my stabilizing muscles are just decaying. But overall after the updates lately, I'm quite happy.
Recent updates have made the gym easier to use. The gym has all the equipment I need and a am able to get in and out in reasonable time. The gym and equipment is clean and people are respectful and friendly.
I like that the facility is clean and that I can find times where it’s not too crowded here. (It’s not clear from this survey format whether I’ll have a chance to provide other feedback and suggestions, so I’m going to list those here as well.) I appreciate that the Biddeford location got some new equipment. However, the new, brighter screens on the cardio equipment, plus the TVs hanging from the ceiling that are set on different channels, are bothersome to me because of some vision issues I have and my sensitivity to migraine triggers. If it becomes too bothersome, I might try to find another gym. I realize I’m a small percentage of your population and that most people probably aren’t bothered by all that visual stimulation. One suggestion I have is to somehow let people know that they can adjust the speed, etc. on the cardio equipment by *pressing and holding* the buttons, rather than beep, beep, beeping their way to their desired settings. Between the bright screens, the TVs flickering, and all that beeping, it’s overwhelming to sensitive types. Thanks for listening.
The people at the front desk have been very helpful. They just replaced all of the equipment, so the arrangement is a bit different. Just had to kind of walk around and see where everything was.
