I have come to Big Bear Bikes now for three years. Each time I’d speak with Mike about the prospect of purchasing an electric bike, pros and cons. I found Mike to be very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and listened to my concerns and requirements. Two weeks ago we got over the finishing line. (Not Mikes fault 3 years, my concerns about battery power. I think they’re at a good point now for my size and weight) I picked up my Trek Powerfly Friday 5/6/26. Mike spent an hour with me explaining things setting the fork suspension, tyre pressure and pairing the bike to my phone. Again nothing to much for him. Each time I visited the shop I found it to be busy with lots of activity going on, all the staff seemed to be happy to help with good knowledge and advice. I’ve test rode three or so bikes over the years, this is encouraged to get the feel of the bikes. You don’t get that online!!! With so many bike shops disappearing from the high streets nowadays, I world say get out and buy from one you can visit and BigBear Bikes is a 5 star experience. Thank you guys Lea

The initial description of electric bike types and then narrowing the field down to the one that would most suit my needs was excellent - well done Andy! The handover was equally as comprehensive - well done Mike! I love the bike, I still get to enjoy the thrill of the ride, get the exercise in but without the strain my conventional bike delivered in spades. Happy :-)

Harry went above and beyond to help fix my ebike I was going on holiday in 2 days yet despite the workshop being full he managed to get my bike repaired thank you to him and the workshop team it was really appreciated

The products are great quality.The service is excellent! I was looked after by Oliver. He is very knowledgeable about all products and he took myself and my partner through each step of buying a bike and the products we would need with great attention to detail. He was patient and professional at all times. I know that if we have any further questions or need further assistance he will be happy to help. Thank Big Bear bikes. We will definitely be back and would recommend you to others.

First time for many years back to having a bike. Absolutely brilliant staff very helpful nothing too much bother, not pushy gave some great advice advantages disadvantages on ebikes. things we really need on bike rides. Yes a little more expensive than some but the quality says it all. Definitely recommend big bear bikes .a big thanks to the guys .

A good all-round bike shop with ample parking in a good all-round location..! Pleasant, competent and knowledgable staff, efficient workshop servicing and a bright, airy showroom with a large selection of bikes and accessories, plus eBike charging and washing facilities..all you need really..! Worth my 50+ miles round trip.
