The shop personnel under stood what the problems was and did a quick check to ensure the chain was not stretched. The bike was done before the estimated completion date. They explained that the new shifters used different grease and the shifters would be separate from the brake lever assembly.

Took a hand me down bike in to see if it was worth fixing. For $15 to tighten handle bars, take off training wheels and oil the chain it was ready for my granddaughter to learn to ride. Once she has mastered the skill I will definitely choose this shop to upgrade her bike. Love doing business with local businesses. Please stop by instead of big box stores. Personalized service is the best and we need to keep it in our communities.

I recently bought an e-bike from Big Dave's Bike Shop and had such a great experience that I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. If you're looking for excellent customer service, this is the place to go. I called to see if they had a Trek Townie step through in stock. Matt let me know they had just sold two but thought there might be one in the back. He asked if I could come in, so I drove right over. The owner checked and found one still in the box. It was a different color than I thought I wanted, aloe vera with a brown seat and brown tires, but when he showed me a picture, I loved it immediately and bought it on the spot. They built it for me, and when I came back to pick it up, it was even cuter in person. I couldn't have been happier with it. I hadn't ridden a bike in over 20 years, and the team went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and confident from the time I bought it to when I rode it home. They patiently walked me through how everything worked and even gave me a little training before I left. They offer maintenance every 150 miles, which is a great perk. But what really stood out to me was how genuinely friendly and supportive everyone was. I had the biggest grin on my face riding home. It felt like being a kid again. I'm happy to report I made it home without the need of bubble wrap around me and did not fall over, I did ride out of the parking lot with the kick stand down but corrected that right away 🤪 Thank you for making this such a positive and fun experience, even with being insecure about getting back on a bike.
