Bike World does a great job offering many bikes for sale, but they also have good bike mechanics for keeping your bike(s) in good working order. Kristi is a wonderful mechanic. You also have several different locations.

I thought I would have to leave my bike for at least a few days even for a minor repair, but the person at the service desk went right to work on it. Found a new jacket I had been looking for and picked up some maintenance items while I waited. I was out of there and on the trails in no time. Thanks Bike World Urbandale!

I primarily worked with Matt, but everyone I dealt with was super knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to being able to test ride, and see everything in person (from the bike to accessories) before purchasing, the Bike World staff is a great reason to purchase a quality Trek product from a local business as opposed to a big-box sporting goods store, or online no-name brand.

needed repair and tune up. I called WDM and the guy said we are 45 days out. I then called the Douglas store with the same request. He said we are 30 days out, is your bike broke? I said yes. He said bring it in and we will work it in when we can. They did with a 48 hour turn around. One follow up question and they are my store now.

They are willing to help with a simple mechanical breakdown whether it's a tubeless valve stem or flat tire. To have that kind of walk-in service available is so convenient and helpful to customers.
