I have been a customer of Bike World for over 40 years! They have always been my neighborhood Bike Shop wherever the location or choose. They always have the best products in a wide ride as well. Your services are outstanding! I was just in the Urbandale store yesterday and Seamus was a great help in picking out Gummies and GU for an upcoming ride this weekend.
At one time or another I have worked with a lot of different employees and they all are willing to help whether it be choosing an electric bike or just find some supplements for the warm weather electrolytes, etc. They are the first place I go and I have purchased two or three bikes from them so yes, I would highly recommend this store, especially the Urbandale store because I am more familiar with that one and their great staff! It helps that a lot of their staff also ride so they can give you excellent advice and opinions on services or products or even recommend. Good trails to try out!

Mr Shamus McCarthy is second to none!!!!!! He is so knowledgeable,professional,compassionate and takes so much time to help a customer it is an outstanding experience with his help. We come from both Lake of the Ozark Missouri and Omaha because of Mr. McCarthy. There is also great product in the store and prices are great. Shamus is a bicyclist who passes on great tips to make all levels of bicyclist comfortable.

I met Justin Sheldon during BikeWorld's annual Trike Day ('26) as my wife and I thought about getting a trike for her. I had a lot of questions about trikes and he answered each one thoroughly and understandably, with exactly the right amount of detail. His guidance in my trying a trike out for the first time was quite helpful. After a week or two of mulling over what we'd learned, we bought a Catrike 559 with Justin's incredible, full-scope support -- from adding the core accessories we knew we wanted, helping us choose additional ones (like shoes), folding and unfolding the trike, maintenance and so much more (like carrying the trike, fully-loaded, down the shop's stairs and putting it in our car). We have been EXTREMELY pleased with this trike ever since. My wife, who was quite excited -- and very nervous -- about beginning to ride her new trike, has since turned into an avid trike enthusiast. She now tries to talk most of our friends into getting one, too. We have gone on 10-20 mile rides together 2-3 times a week ever since. She would like to ramp that frequency and distance range up, too. We will be in the Urbandale BikeWorld shop soon to get some more things for her trike. And sometime down the road, I will probably get one for myself, too. Justin's expertise, amazing patience, and quality support made all the difference. Thank you! Final note: Other staff at the Urbandale BikeWorld were incredibly kind and helpful, too.
