I normally bring my bikes into the West Des Moines location for servicing, but I work nearby so I wanted to try the Urbandale location. I was pleasantly surprised by both the service and the vibe, which seemed to be less on selling you products constantly and more focused on providing quality service. I brought my Madone in for disc rub and the technician recommended that the hub needed an overhaul due to excessive play in the rear wheel which I also noticed upon riding my bike into their shop. I dropped my bike off the following Monday night and it was all fixed up by Tuesday afternoon. I just finished a test ride tonight and the bike rides so much better almost like new again! Shout out to Max Sanders who performed the hub overhaul. As long as I keep getting the same service I will happily bring my bikes into get serviced. Thanks for supporting the biking community!

I have been to two different stores and both have kind helpful staff willing to provide sales services and good advice on all things bike related! As a senior woman just getting g back into biking after a fairly long break, I appreciated the expertises shown by both stores’ staffs. I would recommend bike world to anyone.
