The inspectors approach was timely, systematic and thorough. The documentation provided included photos and the last page had a summary that made interpreting the whole document easier. Issues identified included estimated costs to repair, which is helpful assuming they are accurate. The inspector had general knowledge about how a contractor might approach making repairs. Although many issues were identified, the inspector was measured when communicating the severity of each issue. We are happy we paid for some of the optional services, like the radon testing, sewer scope, and termite inspection because they yielded a lot more information about our property than we would have otherwise had. Spoiler alert - we had radon and roots in the sewer! Because of this information, we were able to negotiate a discount with the sellers. It was well worth the extra few hundred dollars.
