Blooma has been so wonderful during my pregnancy. Such a supportive community throughout this incredible pregnancy journey. Highly recommmeded! My only advice is start earlier I’m your pregnancy than I did!
When my midwife asked what my post-partum plan was, I said Blooma!
When my husband was offered a position in Savannah, GA, Blooma was a main factor in why we stayed in Tennessee.
This studio and the community Jenni has created have been a blessing and have given me a space to feel at home in the middle of all the turmoil I experienced being pregnant/postpartum in a new locale. I am thankful everyday for Blooma.
I was there for happy hour yoga on Sunday, July 8, and my teacher and the class was fantastic. Only issue was that there were shards of glass in the back kitchen when I went to rinse my water cup and I punctured my heel. Ouch. I'm hoping it doesn't get infected - at seven months pregnant and a toddler, I have enough to deal with!
I adore your studio and what it stands for. I have a 3 and 5 year old. We have greatly missed Miss Sarah Jane and wondering if she is teaching at your east nashville studio? Courtney is so nice but the family classes tend to be a lot of passing things around the circle vs actual yoga/ yoga songs (tick tick, etc) that Sarah used to fit in. So much sitting and waiting that my 3 year old said she was bored and the 5 year old asked to leave during Class multiple times. My 3 year old commented on the passing of items when we got in the car and said she would prefer to go to another class instead. Made me sad but I understood why.
I love how relaxed and supportive Blooma is. It’s so nice to have a space where I’m not judged, but accepted. It’s also so nurturing and means a lot to have a place where I can show up late or without signing up prior and be welcomed in. Days with little ones are always unexpected so that is a game changer for me.
I also love the connection I get with my baby when we do baby massage. And the rigor of circuits while being able to have my baby there.
I love everything about the prenatal classes. Megan Xidas is amazing. I raved about her class and got a friend of mine to join and she loves it just as much as I do. She just recently had her baby and was able to incorporate some of the moves from class to turn her baby for a vaginal delivery and avoid a very possible c-section. She was so thankful for the classes. I look forward to using my yoga practice for my own unmedicated birth in a few months.
I love the community that is built at Blooma. I felt like the only pregnant woman in the world until I went there and found myself surrounded with so many wonderful, wise women who were in all stages of pregnancy and that helped normalize the transition and calm my anxieties. Blooma helped me connect with my baby early on and gave me the space to share my fears and find advice and support.
