I appreciate the way that my psychologist understands my problems and the situations that I’m going through she helps me cope and gives me ideas and suggestions to make things little easier in my life every day, she helps me to understand. Dr. Glen was very gracious at our appointment. Her wonderful attitude made me relax. She listened and advised me of things that I can now do to help my depression and short term memory problems since I had my serious stroke last August. Dr. Alex who did my testing was very thorough in explaining to me what I needed to do in each section of the testing. Dr. Glen noted in her report that we never discussed any problems or abuse from my mother. Both of my parents were severe alcoholics, and most of my time growing up I felt that I was teaching them how to be a parent!!!! It has now been over 8 months past my stroke, and I finally feel that I’m getting closer to moving on with my life since I have not been able to drive or released by Dr Ossi to go back to work. I will not see him until August 26th!!!! I feel that St Vincent’s should have scheduled all these appointments for me when I was transferred the Orange Park Rehab, instead of my husband and I having to do it ourselves. All the staff were excellent, especially Jenny. The experience over all was good. One thing I would suggest - it would have been great to know how long the appointment would take. I had an ADD EVAL, which I knew I was going to have, but I had no idea I would be at the office over 2 hours. My husband had driven me downtown because I wasn't familiar with the area, and he missed more hours of work time than expected. Thank you.
