I like that you don't have to stick to a 'term' because it's not possible for everyone to be so regular.
Teachers are great at instructing a mixed class, and as a student you to get to see what to aspire to when you look at more advanced students.
Pilates mat classes are a sustainable exercise regime that can be continued throughout life. I have never felt stronger after doing pilates for a few years and recently travelled for six weeks and was able to continue with pilates exercise myself every day. Using your own body weight for strengthening has none of the hazards of gym based weight training where I regularly injured myself by overdoing the weights. Pilates focus on core strength and balance reduces the risk associated with desk based work and makes you fit for other forms of exercise such as walking and or trekking.
Relaxed and not pretentious, well organized, the space has a great energy and there is a great mix of different types of classes. It’s very welcoming, and I enjoy the special classes and workshops too.
