I love the programs that are offered. From the aquafit to Pilates and Women and Weights and Light and Lively. The instructors are wonderful as well as being very knowledgeable. To me the Y is not only physical but very social environment as well as support for each other. The best way to start your day and staying in shape at the same time.
I wanted to submit a suggestion. I've only met two ladies that were over 80 and I thought, WOW they were so amazing. One had just finished doing two aquatic classes and the other one does light and lively and I've seen her in the pool as well. I thought it would be nice to get to know some of the members who are an inspiration to us all. Another man I met in the chainge room. He was in a wheel chair and had simply fallen at home and injured himself and now is trying to improve his health by going in the pool. If there was a board in the foyer that would display a picture and write up about I'm sure many of our members and their story, I think would be inspiring to us all.
