The maintenance of the bikes has improved, but more is still needed. 75% of the time, I have a significant issue with the electric bikes (lose connections causing manual bike riding, faulty breaks, stuck seat adjustments, batteries that fail to charge, etc.).
the app worked great and the bike was charged and ready to go. worked perfectly for what I needed while my car was in the shop and I had some errands to run.
Bcycles are fast but not too fast. Lime scooters ride like they’re trying to get a high score in GTA. Bcycles need more power on hills though. They are useless uphill so people only ride them down. They are relatively reliable but not to the point you can count on them working unlocking or being there. It is a nice bonus when you need to get across campus and the bikes happen to be at your dock. The bcycle employees are respectful and safely conscience and don’t block sidewalks or bus/bile lanes unlike lime juicers.
Boulder should ban Lime and build more bcycle stations.
Customer service is friendly and helpful, even when I misremember things, not to mention it's a great service overall. the bikes are easy to use and a bunch of fun to ride.
snappy access was great, as was having a fully charged bike. the shifting experience wasn't amazing with my particular bike, but this was my first ride.
