I always love these little critters! The paperwork isn’t to overwhelming. And they don’t hover over you when meeting an animal unless you have questions, and they will answer them, or get someone that can.
The mega event was very easy to navigate through the whole process.
I did inquire about the pup I adopted about a month prior from the Georgetown facility, looking for more information on his personality. I was disappointed to receive a standard form letter in reply. I was looking for more detailed information on what his care takers had learned about him before I drove two hours to meet him. But all worked out when that same pup was available at the mega event.
Adapting this wonderful companion first and foremost.
The staff was very professional helpful and have such compassion for the pets under their care.
Keep doing great work. God often sends angel's without wings and you deal with them daily.
Thank you for all you do.

There are very passionate people who care about animals a great deal at the Georgetown and ARC campuses. I have no complaints about my experience, except a nit picky thing to put a towel in the cardboard carriers that you send out for cats. My cat peed in the car on the way home and there was nothing to absorb it. We are adjusting with our new family member currently and are very happy with him!
The staff are friendly and stayed late when they knew I wanted to adopt that day (I'd gotten there right before they closed due to work). They made sure I had everything I needed for the foster-to-adopt and thoroughly went over all the requirements. When I took my kitten back to get neutered, all the techs were logging on him when I picked him up; you can tell the staff really do love the animals.
Unrelated sidenote: I have a friend who volunteers at kill shelters in Texas and she found out one of the dogs she's been working with is being sent up here to BVSPCA and she's so relieved because even she knows your reputation for care and adoption. Thank you for taking these animals and getting them the chance they deserve to find families.
