We visited the shelter on a Saturday morning. This is clearly a very busy time for them. There was a bit of a wait to talk to a senior volunteer but it was well worth the wait. We worked with Jeff and he answered all of our questions and was very, very patient with us. He did not rush our decision and was very cognizant of allowing my husband and I space when discussing if Bear would be a good fit for our home. He shared his experiences with rescue and his personal dogs to aid in our decision to adopt or hold off. We ended up adopting Bear and was given very informative medical advice and enrolled in Fetch pet insurance prior to leaving with our little man. Jeff was incredible and a joy to be around. Brandywine is lucky to have an individual who cares as much as he does.

Everything was great! The application process was very easy! I love all the perks that my kitten came with which included up to date shots, spayed, microchip, flea and tick medicine. The team and staff made everything so easy and accessible. My kitten had a cold and they provided me with the medicine she need to clear everything up as well. I definitely recommend if anyone is looking to get a new furry friend.

I appreciate the effort they put into saving animals and getting them into homes. I always donate to them. And I am so hallucinating they saved my recent rescue pup from the worst fate. She has transformed into a beautiful pup in 8 short weeks. From a stray on the streets of Philly to playing in a big yard and sleeping in a cozy bed.
