From the time we entered the Brandywine Valley SPCA and told the staff we were looking to adopt a dog there was no pressure and every question was answered. Their main goal was for us to get the right dog for us. When we picked a dog they gave us all the information they had on her. They explained she has heart worms and what we would have to do and how they would help us. They allowed us to foster her her and gave us instructions on her care. They also gave her an appointment to be spayed after which we could adopt her. They gave us medicine to give her, and contact information if there was a problem. It was a long process because there main concern was for the dogs welfare

Andrew, the cat employee, was absolutely wonderful. I had a list of cats and their photos from the website that I wanted to see. I think ithe employee’s name was Andrew. He knew the names and story of each cat, and their history. Based on my criteria, he agreed that cat Libby was the perfect cat for me to adopt. He was very cool and helpful. I came home with the perfect cat!
