I went to this shop out of the blue to see if I could get my shifters looked at, as one of them had stopped working a while back. I didn't expect to leave with it working, but that's what happened.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
I'm not saying this would happen every time you went there for service, as it is a busy shop, but I greatly appreciated them looking at and fixing the problem I had with my shifter and schooling me on what to do if it happened again.
Dan, the owner, has been in the business for quite a while and even knew the shop from which I purchased the bike I am riding, Devore Bikes in Columbus, back in the early nineties.
Thank You
When I first came in with my bikes, I felt slighted because I had what you called "Walmart bikes" and you seemed hesitant to work on them and in fact said you could only repair the tires. It might help to remember 2 things;
1) not every purpose calls for a high-end bike, sometime a "Walmart bike" will suffice and if it needs service, you should be willing to do so.
2) the persons walking in with a "Walmart bike" might someday be in the market for another bike and you could become "their bike shop" with excellent service and attitude.
If you can be trusted with small things you may then be trusted with large things.
Very knowledgeable and efficient. They were able to accommodate a same-day repair even though store would only be open a few hours after I arrived and there was brisk customer traffic.
