The Bremerton YMCA is a warm & welcoming place to work out or play pickleball like I did the other day. It was very enjoyable and I plan on coming back.
The classes and child watch! It would be nice if there was a check-in scanner near both entrances. I’ve made this request and was told that no one is ever using the computer on the other side.
But there is always someone using the middle computer…not even the one where people scan in. And I often see someone using the computer furthest from the check-in area. I’ve had to wait several times while someone slowly gets their card out to scan and I’m trying to get to a class. Seems like a simple thing to add for the ease of your customers!
The pool mainly, although it does not have as many amenities as the Silverdale Y. But with the universality of Y membership I can go to Silverdale if I wish. Also, the convenience of access for me as I live a short distance from the Bremerton Y. I haven’t been using the Y much lately because I have been concentrating on outdoor running during the good weather. But I will be moving indoors soon and intend to use the treadmills and the vast array of weight machines there.
Friendly staff (much better than silverdale YMCA) and homeschool classes.
Greatly need to improve staffing for swim lessons; Everyone I talk with says they are disappointed in the lack of consistency with teachers.
Our instructors are fantastic! The variety and frequency of classes is impressive. They make extreme effort to make classes convenient for majority of participants. The front desk is always welcoming and makes effort to call you by name. I love the Bremerton Y.
The staff here are wonderful, helpful and cheerful people!. They make you feel at home here. Denise K. really helps the kids learn in the homeschool science classes and also is such a great teacher in whatever she is teaching.
