I enjoy the variety of group fitness classes. I have been to many different ones, and I like being able to take a different one for strength, cardio, flexibility, dance throughout the week. I also like being able to take my kids and having options for them from the classes, pool, youth activities and mor. I signed them up for the free personal training session for 10-13, so they can gain strength. I haven't heard from anyone yet, so it hasn't been set up yet, but I like that this is offered and hope the kids will like it and begin to set healthy attitudes with that program.

Group fitness classes are great. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. There is certainly not enough parking, I think the parking lot needs to be expanded. I do not use the weightroom much because its always very crowded. However, I recently went with a friend to Lifetime and they were just as busy, if not busier! Would be nice to add tennis courts and some tennis programming, as this was lost at Maryland Farms. The people are kind and caring.

One of the things I love most about the Y is that there are Bible verses on the walls and they have seemed to stay true to what their original mission is. The Brentwood Y has all the equipment that I need to accomplish my circuit training workouts. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Members are polite to each other. Another thing that really stands out about the Y is that each machine has its own bottle of cleaning solution. It makes it that much easier to clean the equipment! There are also multiple bottles of cleaning solution in the Performance Zone! I know it’s expensive to ground swimming pools, but that is the only thing I would say that could be improved over time. This way, the indoor pool especially would not have to close due to thunderstorms! Overall it’s a wonderful place to work out and get exercise!

The YMCA has truly been a wonderful place for our family. It offers everything we need, well-equipped gym facilities, a clean and inviting pool, and even convenient childcare so we can enjoy our workout time with peace of mind. The staff are incredibly friendly and the entire space is always spotless. The outdoor pool in particular is a hit with the kids so much fun and a great way for them to burn off energy!
