The YMCA programs continue to be excellent; they always strive to give us the best care and are always there for us. For this reason, I will recommend the YMCA to family and friends who need to improve their health through exercise.
The pool is very well run. Two things I would improve would be, swim teams never get more than half of the pool, and I wish there was a way to teach lap swimmers how to properly share. It gets dangerous with some people. All good otherwise.
We like that everyone can play and everyone is included and that (generally) it isn’t TOO serious or competitive. We like the kids to be able to play and have fun being active!
Kim’s a wonderful water aerobics coach! Her workout routines can be intense at times, but they’re also enjoyable. I appreciate that she pushes us to work hard, yet she knows when another might need additional assistance and support, being kind and gracious when going so. Perhaps even more importantly, she makes it fun.
I’ve been going to the group exercise classes for almost two years now, and I really enjoy them. The instructors are always so welcoming and encouraging, and I love having lots of class options at different times. I never thought I’d look forward to going to the gym, but I do now!
