Personable, helpful staff. Like the free installation of accessories. Recommend: 1) more bikes on the floor. I paid for a bike I could not test drive--luckily it fit and works well. 2) checklist for bike operation. The last time I bought a new bike was about 40 years ago and things have changed a bit since then. The person who sold me the bike helped load it into my car, but needed to remove the front wheel. I got home and only then discovered it was different to reinstall a wheel with disc brakes. I struggled then called the store then watched about 10 YouTube videos, but couldn't finish installing the wheel. Finally, I had to return to the store and have staff show me how to do it. Then I went out for my maiden ride and realized I did not know how to shift. Luckily my route was fairly flat and I was able to figure it out.

The personal touch of the staff is top notch. Both the team on the floor and the service department are great. Nate in particular was awesome. Cool dude, and helped me get my Trek FX 4 back on the road with the proper tires. The Vittori Zeros are awesome. 2 rides since I got the bike and the smooth rolling with the tight holds when cornering with these tires is pretty intense. Thanks again team!

I’ve had a good experience with this shop so far. The store is well-organized and has a wide selection of bikes and accessories, which makes it a nice place to browse and come back to. The staff are friendly and willing to help or offer suggestions, which I appreciated. They also offer solid bike service, especially if you’ve bought your bike from them—the free tune-up is a nice bonus.

Chris and his team provided an excellent service. When I arrived at 11am the rental bike was expeditiously setup, the material was in excellent condition and I was ready to start my ride after a few minutes. Chris was very knowledgeable, showed interest in my plan of the day and provided me with valuable suggestions (ie. where I could go for a break or about the conditions on US 1). I definitely will come back next time I’m in SFO and rent again with Summit Bicycles Burlingame.

Thanks for the service on my road and mountain bikes. The crew in the shop were very helpful to decide what I actually needed doing. Very accurate in their assessment of when the work would be completed. I rode the road bike today - silky smooth after the tune up and parts replacements.

I have mostly used repair services with Summit, but the quality of the work has been good and the people I have interacted with have been helpful and reasonably flexible to address my needs.
