Needed a bike ordered online assembled. Service was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pickup was a breeze. Will take my bike in for service/repairs in the future.
This was my first visit to Summit. I rolled in my old bike, received a very friendly greeting and was directed to Nate, a bike tech. He quickly got the gear changing mechanism going again, offered some great advice and sent me back to the front of the store with a properly working Town bike. Since I figured I'd be walking home, or waiting a long time, I was quite pleased. Chad helped me find a perfect bag carrier, safety light and lock. I can't remember a better retail shopping experience than I had at Summit. They are my go to bike store now.
Where do I begin? First, if you’re looking to get back into cycling and/or you’re looking for a nice “no drop” guided ride, you should check out their hosted rides on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings. They’re a great way to enjoy a ride with others and spend time with your bike. Second, their staff continues to be extremely helpful with all my bicycle maintenance and repair needs; I wish I could carry them in my pannier when I tour!
Initially i visited the shop for an estimate to service a bike and we ended up leaving with a new bike for my son. The experience from the service department through the sales department was amazing. My son test rode multiple bikes and all the while the salespeople viewed us from across the street and advised us on how he looked and controlled the multiple bikes. Gave us the pros and cons and listened to what we would like to gain from a new bike. The sales team coordinated with each other on what they saw when he rode the bike and came to a conclusion. On top of that we get free annual maintenance on the bike. I am extremely happy to have stepped into their establishment in Burlingame and will not hesitate to recommend or purchase from them again. Thanks!
