Hi there — I was very pleased by the prompt service I received. However, the work that was done on my bike — replacing my rear derailleur shifter cable— has not solved the problem I brought it in for. The bike is still very slow to downshift and does not want to drop into one gear. I plan to bring the bike back later this spring when you have 12-speed chains in stock. I thought your employee (Kirk) was very knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to explain a couple different bikes and ultimately we found the right bike for my son. I thought the selection was great, the store was clean and all the staff were very friendly.

I brought in an old bike that I just wanted tuned up before it was being donated. The service folks only did the work necessary to make the bike safe and sound. And it was turned around in under 24 hours.

You guys had a promotion on, buy a trainer receive $100 gift card. When I placed the order I received an email within minutes explaining how the gift card was only valid in store and they noticed I was from Ontario. They offered to take the $100 off the purchase price which I really really appreciated. I know you didn't have to do that. It is a very nice gesture and will not be forgotten. Because of this gesture when I am looking to make a purchase I will be sure to check calgarycycle first. I will also tell my friends to do the same. Thanks very much for the great customer service. It made me very happy and grateful.
