The people are friendly and are great with our dogs. Our one husky has seizures and is on medication for them. They called me immediately when he had a seizure and went out of their way to comfort him and cool him down. Our dogs love going to camp! Nothing better than a tired husky. Thank you!!
Although I have been bringing my dog to Camp Bow Wow since the facility opened, our most recent visit will likely be our last. My dog was injured by another camper, and required medical attention. I felt communication was seriously lacking as I had to call more than once when a promised update from the facility did not come. One kind employee did leave a very extensive voice mail message for me on her own time when she realized she had not called me during the day. Upon pick up, the facial wound (I was never told it was a facial injury) appeared much more serious than I had expected. Adding insult to literal injury, I was not offered any type of discount for her stay. When I asked at check out about timing to have the staples removed, the check out employee mentioned that I could bring my dog back to Bow Wow and they could take my dog to the Bow Wow vet. I chose to handle that myself as I really don't want to stress my dog by having her spend any more time there. I am sorry to lose this care option.
